Neoprene Rubber Sheet is a versatile and economical grade of general purpose rubber. Sometimes known by its general designation Chloroprene (CR), Neoprene Rubber was the first inorganic rubber compound and was developed specifically to compensate for Natural Rubber's incompatibility with oils and fuels. Neoprene Rubber is ideal for sealing these kinds of fluids and offers good mechanical strength, general chemical compatibility and UV resistance.

Our Neoprene Rubber is an industrial grade product that is often used to make seals, gaskets and liners. Other popular uses for this versatile form of rubber sheet are listed below:

Neoprene sheet is a solid rubber that does not have any insertion / reinforcement. It has a listed durometer hardness of 60 Shore A (±5) which is the most common hardness for industrial rubber materials (though there are definitely others). Both sides of our Neoprene Rubber have a smooth surface finish. This material will handle temperatures anywhere between -20°C and +100°C and has good elongation properties (up to 300% before breaking).
